Crossbeam light curtains from XECRO use fully crossed beam geometry for object detection.
They combine an exceptionally high resolution with a high penetration and contamination reserve. The functional principle enables the use in areas where light barriers with only one beam offer insufficient detection performance. These light curtains synchronize optically—they install without electrical connection to each other.
Due to the bean crossing over the entire detection height the monitoring level is currently limited to 100, 200 and 300mm.
Crossbeam light curtains of the latest generation have a factory-made intensity adjustment of the single transmitters. All transmitters are calibrated in a way that each channel emits the same amount of light, independent of their quality and possible assembly tolerances. This procedure leads to a significantly better uniform light distribution and thus to an increased detection performance.
